Jean-Marc Peyer (b. 1948) is a French-Swiss artist residing in the South of France. His paintings represent his vision and deep feelings for this luminous, harsh and sometimes very mysterious Provence. The strength of the colours, the shapes, bring forward an atmosphere of peace and warmth, occasionally with a hint towards abstraction. A very personal and stylized representation, which has brought him worldwide recognition.
